12 May 2020
May 12 2020 marks not only this year’s International Nurses Day but also the 200th anniversary of the birth of the mother of modern nursing; Florence Nightingale.
The Sussex CCGs would like to take the opportunity provided by this anniversary to thank all of the nurses working across the Sussex health and care system for their efforts, dedication and hard work, not only during the extraordinary times that we are currently in, but every day of every year. Florence Nightingale would be proud of the legacy she has left.
