Our Governing Body meets in public every two months to discuss local health issues and to make decisions about local healthcare services.
We hold these meetings in public so local patients and stakeholders can come and listen to our discussions and have a greater insight and understanding about how we work and how we make decisions about local healthcare.
Members of the public and stakeholders are welcome to attend these meetings and there are opportunities, both at the beginning and the end of each meeting, for the public to ask the Governing Body questions about the discussions or local health services. See ‘asking questions’ for more details.
We are now holding our Governing Body meetings virtually rather than ‘in public’. This is in response to guidance issued by Public Health England regarding the current situation with the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic which proposes social distancing in order to slow down transmission of the virus. We will continue to publish the papers for the meetings on this website but it will not be possible to attend in person.
